CFHA Year in Review - 2021

CFHOA Residents-

Here are important updates as we conclude the 2021 calendar year.

BOARD INTEREST:

It is that time of the year again to express interest in joining next year's board.  We have a few open spots on next year's ballot and would love some new faces/perspectives.  Please email board@coventryfarmhoa.com in the next few weeks, If you have any interest. 

THE CFHA 5 YEAR PLAN:

Year 2 of the 5 Year Plan: Of the three major projects described, the status is as follows:

  • Replacement of the clubhouse deck was completed in 2020; the deck surface will be protected in Spring 2022.
  • Expansion of our parking lot was completed in 2021.
  • Major pool repair / replacement will begin, in Fall 2021, with and assessment of the existing pool and mechanical systems.  This will be a challenging project and will require a lot of thought and feedback from residents as we move forward.

If any resident has input or experience in these areas, we will welcome your participation.

2021 UPGRADES/IMPROVEMENTS:

This year the board made several improvements that you may have noticed. We expanded and moved the entrance to the parking lot and, with the help of Jason Huser, landscaped the area around it.  As part of the effort, we also regraded the ground in front of the swing set to direct surface water away from the lower area around the playset and seeded the graded areas.  We filled and sealed the large crack in the tennis / basketball court asphalt and replaced the basketball pole pads.  Inside the clubhouse, we upgraded to a much more intuitive Nest thermostat.  On the exterior of the clubhouse, we’ve installed a new 5-camera monitoring system.  Not visible to residents, but important to the function of the pool, we also replaced the pool filter prior to season open.
