Follow Up on 2022 HOA Dues

Dear Residents of Coventry Farms,

 

*Please note this message was sent to all homeowners, but is specifically addressed to those homeowners who have not paid their 2022 Association dues yet.*

 

In early January, a Community Newsletter was sent regarding the 2022 HOA dues payment.  The initial due date was February 1st.  Thank you to those residents who have submitted payment!  The Newsletter outlined two ways in which payment can be made: 1) Check payment/drop off at clubhouse mailbox -OR- 2) PayPal through the subdivision website.  

 

Currently, we are at a 41% collection rate for dues payment with approximately 2/3 of payments being processed through PayPal.  As is the case every year, PayPal charges a service fee and the HOA has absorbed this fee.  With the 2022 payments, PayPal has increased their service charges to approximately $11 per transaction - a $2 increase from last year.  

 

The HOA Board's goal is to maintain and improve the amenities on Lot 15 while keeping our budget balanced; we work to control all costs that we can.  As such, we are exploring different ways to process payments electronically.

 

Therefore, starting this week, homeowners who have not paid their 2022 dues will receive an emailed invoice with the option for an ACH withdrawal or check drop off at the clubhouse.  The emailed invoice will be sent from "Coventry Farm Homeowner Association" through Quickbooks - our internal accounting system.  A fee will be charged for the ACH withdrawal, but it is less than Paypal, approx. $4 per Lot. This fee will still be absorbed by the HOA.  With that being said, check payment and drop off in the clubhouse mailbox is the preferred method at this time.

 

The emailed invoice is a trial run for the collection of the remaining 2022 HOA dues.  Feedback and comments are welcomed from residents.  Please feel free to email board@coventryfarmhoa.com with any questions or concerns.
